Since the inception of Internet, the world has seen radical changes in the way we communicate and blogging is the prime example of such a change. Basically, blogging is an informal speech with the freedom to express personal ideas and thoughts using internet as a prime medium. The writers of these blogs are known as bloggers. Now, professional bloggers have taken the concept a step further and developed it into a more professional rhetoric which includes the most common concepts found in Journalism. Blogging is sub divided into many categories including personal blogs, corporate blogs and question blogs.
Video blogging is a relatively new concept which highlights the issues from video clips rather than the content in writing. It should be noted that blogging is synonymous with writing but it is in fact a much more informal style of writing. The popularity of blogging stemmed from its freedom of choice. Blogging provides bloggers more freedom of choice and ideas. Furthermore, Internet has provided bloggers a medium to express their views without being dictated on the style of writing. It will not be an oversimplification to suggest that blogging has provided a new dimension to Journalism in a more refined manner. Just like the Internet, Blogging is emerging as the most liked medium.
